The process AluChem deburrs and smoothes edges and surfaces of aluminum and aluminum alloys. The achievable leveling and surface finish are influenced by the alloy composition. All aluminum alloys can be deburred. The result is a metallic pure surface, which is free of spangles, flakes, material overlapping and particles. As a rule, a mat, satin finish is achieved.

AluChem increases durability and fatigue resistance of workpieces, reduces friction and wear as well as improves the adhesion of coatings.

AluChem A 100 is applied in immersion baths. The workpieces can be processed either on a jig, in the basket or as bulk material in drums.

AluChem A 100 and the rinsing water from the process are acidic and contain heavy metal. They have to be treated and disposed of according to the statutory laws and regulations.
